The Shelby-Rising City Public Schools District is a rural, Class III District, with a PK-12 facility located in Shelby. The Shelby-Rising City High School has a student population of 104 students in grades 9-12. Shelby-Rising City High School is classified as a D1 school by the Nebraska School Activities Association. The district implemented a 1:1 Digital Device Initiative with HS and MS students in 2014 and offers a College and Career Pathways program to Juniors and Seniors to earn dual credit and/or workforce certification through Central Community College. The Mission of Shelby-Rising City Public Schools is to provide a quality education through innovation, integrity, accountability, and service. Enrollment for our 9-12 students for the 22-23 school year was 109.
