DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The Shelby-Rising City Public Schools District is a rural, Class III District, with schools located in Shelby and Rising City, Nebraska. The Shelby-Rising City Elementary School, located in the town of Shelby, had a student population of 170 students in grades preK-5, during the 2014-2015 school year. In 2016 the elementary students will be housed in a new building on the Shelby campus. The Mission of Shelby-Rising City Public Schools is to provide a quality education through innovation, integrity, accountability, and service.
