DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


The Shelby-Rising City Public Schools District is a rural, Class III District, with schools located in Shelby and Rising City, Nebraska. The Shelby-Rising City Elementary School, located in the town of Shelby, had a student population of 185 students in grades preK-5, during the 2016-2017 school year. In 2016 the elementary students moved in to a new building on the Shelby campus. Starting with the fall of 2016 all students in K-2 have a 1 to 1 iPad and all students in 3-5 have a 1 to 1 Chromebook for use at school. The Mission of Shelby-Rising City Public Schools is to provide a quality education through innovation, integrity, accountability, and service.
