DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


The Shelby-Rising City Public Schools District is a rural, Class III District, with schools located in Shelby and Rising City, Nebraska. The S-R-C Middle School is located in Rising City, Nebraska. The site of the middle school is the original Rising City school building. The district implemented a 1:1 Laptop Initiative in grades 6 through 12 where middle school students are using MacBook Air laptops. In 2017 the Middle School students will move to the Shelby campus upon completion of a new construction/renovation project. The Mission of Shelby-Rising City Public Schools is to provide a quality education through innovation, integrity, accountability, and service.
