DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
The Wilber-Clatonia School District is composed of the communities of Wilber(1800) and Clatonia (250) and the adjacent rural area. The economic base is dependent on farming, meat and grain processing plants, light manufacturing industries and local small businesses. Total PK-12 enrollment is 585 with an experienced staff of 42 teachers and 4 administrators. The school is categorized as a C-2 school system by the NE School Activities Association for the purpose of activities. The mission of the district is to help each student be the best person they can be. In August of 2005, the district completed construction of an elementary school and track facility. The construction connected the district's school buildings and created a K-12 campus. Beginning in 2010 the District started on upgrades to the secondary building HVAC system to improve the learning environment for secondary students.
