DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


The Wilber-Clatonia School District is composed of the communities of Wilber(1800) and Clatonia (250) and the adjacent rural area. The economic base is dependent on production agriculture, meat and grain processing plants, light manufacturing industries and local small businesses. Total 7-12 enrollment is approximately 245 with an experienced staff of 20.0 FTE teachers and 2.0 FTE administrators. The school is categorized as a C-2 school system by the NE School Activities Association for the purpose of activities. The mission of the district is to help each student be the best person they can be. Beginning in 2010 the District started on upgrades to the secondary building HVAC system and classrooms to improve the learning environment for secondary students.
