Squire John Thomas Elementary School enrolls Kindergarten through Fifth Grade children. Services include teacher specialists in Vocal Music, Art, Physical Education, Special Education, Gifted Education, and Library/Media; a strong program in Reading, Writing, and Language development; instruction in the traditional disciplines; classroom computers and a complete computer lab. The educators at Gretna Public Schools understand that to be a learner is to be a reader, and that to prepare students for success, reading must be the primary focus of the school.
