Springfield Elementary is located in the town of Springfield, Nebraska. Springfield Elementary serves approximately 260 students in grades K – 6. These students are divided into two sections of each grade for an average class size of 18.5. The largest class is 24 and the smallest class is 13. These students are served by 23.2 certified teachers, an office manager and assistant, a health CNA, two food service staff, three custodians, 13 para professionals, and a principal. In addition to the core elementary curriculum, students also benefit from vocal music, instrumental music (grade 6), physical education, guidance/counseling, art, and library media which are scheduled into the day. Springfield Elementary shares a counselor, a media specialist, an art teacher and a gifted facilitator (Discovery) with Westmont Elementary.
