Springfield Elementary is located in the town of Springfield, Nebraska. Springfield Elementary serves over 300 students in grades K – 6. These students are divided into two/three sections of each grade for an average class size of 18.5. This year there were 3 sections of Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade. These students are served by certified teachers, an office manager and assistant, a health CNA, two food service staff, three custodians, grade level and special education paraprofessionals, and a principal. In addition to the core elementary curriculum, students also benefit from vocal music, instrumental music (grade 6), physical education, guidance/counseling, art, and library media which are scheduled into the day. Springfield Elementary shares a media specialist, an art teacher and a gifted facilitator (Discovery) with Westmont Elementary.
