The Ashland-Greenwood Elementary School is a K-5 building. The student teacher ratio is about 20 students to one teacher. Kindergarten operates as an all-day program. Technology is accessible to students in every classroom. The school also offers high ability learner programs, music, art, physical education, and guidance. The school is noted for its effective guided reading instructional program, implementation of Reading Recovery, and small group and individualized instruction. The school has strong parent involvement with an active PTO. Local businesses partner with the school on various projects throughout the year.
