DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Gering High School offers a comprehensive curriculum that include academic and vocational pathways as well as a host of specialties in the fine arts and extracurricular activities. All courses are based on Nebraska standards and provide a variety of opportunities to help students build proficiencies in curricular areas of their choosing. An expansive number of dual credit offerings in both academic and vocational areas are available to Gering High School students in coordination with local post-secondary institutions. A recent comprehensive facility update has positioned Gering High School to prepare students for their successful future. Staff members are highly qualified and dedicated to helping all students reach their full potential. The student body is known to be supportive of each other and proud of their reputation and traditions as Gering Bulldogs.
