DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Lincoln Elementary serves a diverse population of 420 PK-6 students. Lincoln, built in 2011-2012, is Nebraska’s First LEED Certified Elementary School. Lincoln houses the “Discovering Accountability with Guidance and Support” program, an intensive behavior program. A professional staff of teachers and paraprofessionals work to insure all students are challenged to achieve or exceed grade level district and state expectations. Lincoln offers learning opportunities: Student Council, After School Tutoring, Foster Grandparents, Summer School, PBSS, BIST, Boys Town Social Skills, Title I, RtI, and K-6 Smartboards. Lincoln students serve their community by contributing to local organizations including the Puppack program, American Heart Association, Pennies for Patients, Foster Grandparents, and by recycling items. We value the partnership with our parents and community as we build a strong Lincoln community committed to developing intelligent, hard-working, well-rounded citizens.
