Geil Elementary is located in Gering, NE, in the Panhandle of Nebraska. Geil is a safe and exciting place for students to reach their full potential! We serve over 350 students and are home to approximately 50 staff members. Geil Elementary provides students with an innovative, district wide curriculum, ample technology, a warm learning environment and the personal touch that students require. All staff members collaborate all year long with respect to the students’ progress. Technically sound universal screeners are used to progress monitor every child and strong data-based decisions, within a tiered model, are made to ensure student success. (RTI) Parents are constantly in the school environment and are welcome at all times. The school also hosts a breakfast and lunch program. Geil Elementary is led and guided by an experienced and caring staff. At Geil, we believe in hard work, dedication, and building positive relationships that will best prepare our students for their future.
