DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The early childhood program, operated by the Gering Schools, offers a pre-school program for three and four year old children in our district. This program is located in the Lincoln Elementary School. Children with developmental delays as well as typically developing children attend this program. The program focuses on the unique development of young children, in accordance with the indicators of quality issued by the Nebraska Department of Education. Our goal is that all students may enter school ready to learn and have a successful school experience. The pre-school works closely with all the elementary schools in Gering to provide a continuous educational experience for all the children.
