DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Lincoln Heights Elementary is a Title I school that serves students in grades K-5. Our school is organized into grade-level instructional teams, and we utilize a standards-based curriculum that follows the district's learning guides for core subjects. In grades K-2, we use Fundations, a phonics program, to provide a solid foundation for K-2 students. We also offer Really Great Reading intervention for identified students in grades K-2. For grades K-5, we utilize the Wit and Wisdom curriculum for ELA and Bridges Math for math instruction. All students rotate for Target Time which is leveled intervention in both ELA and math at their level. In addition to reading and math, students receive additional instruction in Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music, Art, Library, and Technology. Lincoln Heights also offers High Ability Learners Program (HALS) as an afterschool enrichment program. We strive to provide an inclusive environment where Every Student matters Every Day.
