DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The Milford School District covers approximately 115 square miles in Seward, Lancaster, and Saline Counties. The District is classified by NDE as a Class III district and as a Class C-1/B school by the Nebraska School Activities Association. For the 2015-16 school year the Milford High School's enrollment (7-12) was 333 students. Twenty-seven certificated teachers serve the 7-12 students. As measured against the District’s performance standards and the Nebraska state standards, the academic achievement of Milford Public Schools’ students is high. In addition to NeSA and District tests, students in grades 7-8 and 11 are also assessed using a norm-referenced test, the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. Results of these student achievement measures are displayed on the State of the Schools Report and available at the district office.
