DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The Milford School District covers approximately 115 square miles in Seward, Lancaster, and Saline Counties. The District is classified by NDE as a Class III district and as a Class C-1/B school by the Nebraska School Activities Association. For the 2018-19 school year the Milford Elementary's enrollment (PK-6) was 438 students. Twenty-three certificated teachers serve the PK-6 students. As measured against the District’s performance standards and the Nebraska state standards, the academic achievement of Milford Public Schools’ students is high. In addition to NSCAS and District assessments, students in grades 2-6 are also assessed using a norm-referenced tool, the Measure of Academic Process (MAP). Results of these student achievement measures are displayed on the Nebraska Education Profile and available at the district office.
