DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Seward Elementary School serves approximately 500 students in grades K-4. The school is also home to a preschool program for special needs students. The school utilizes professional learning communities, researched based interventions, Special Service Program, and utilizes a High Ability Learner Program. Seward Elementary offers a foundational curriculum in Reading, Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, Computer Information Technology Systems, and Counseling. Seward Elementary also serves students through its after school enrichment programs. The elementary school employs 34 teachers with an average of 18 years of experience. Eighty-Four percent of elementary school teachers have earned Master's Degrees.
