DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Bruning-Davenport Unified School District is a school of 183 students with PK-1 elementary facilities at the Bruning site and grades 2-4 at Davenport, a 5-8 grades middle school in Davenport, and a 9-12 grades high school in Bruning. The Davenport Elementary site had 31 students and three FTE teachers. We are in the second year of Wonders Reading and the third year of Nancy Larson science. Both have digital resources, text-dependent analysis, and experiential learning opportunities for students in grades K-5. The Davenport site has a before- and afterschool program that offers homework support and supervision. Students have access to technology through laptops, iPads, and Spheros, Tynker, and LEGOS.
