Pender Jr./Sr. High School educated 145 students in grades 7-12 during the 2017-2018 school year. The school serves residents of Pender and Thurston as well as the rural areas surrounding those two communities. The mission of the Pender Public School District is to provide quality educational opportunities in a safe, positive learning environment that motivates and challenges all students to become productive and responsible citizens. The district features high quality educational and extra curricular facilities that more than meet the needs of its patrons. Lead by an excellent certified and classified secondary staff of 35 people, the school provides educational opportunities that will lead students down the path to success.
