DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Fort Calhoun Jr-Sr High School is a 7-12 facility located at 5876 County Road P43, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023. Our town is on Nebraska Highway 75 approximately 10 miles north of Omaha. All facilities and programs in the District meet Rule 10 accreditation set by NDE. In addition, the Fort Calhoun Community School system is a member of AdvancEd accreditation. Fort Calhoun is classified as C1 for inter-scholastic activities under the Nebraska Activities Association. School colors are orange/black and our mascot is the Pioneer. With safety as one of the main focuses, an addition was started prior to the 2014-15 school year which was completed and occupied in 2015-16 providing space for Fine Arts, activities/sports, food service, offices, parking, and accessibility. In addition the existing building had major renovations to add classrooms, Industrial Ed space, modernized gym space, and revamp the campus. Since completed, all classes are able to meet "under one roof".
