DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Fort Calhoun Jr-Sr High School is 7-12 and located at 5876 Co Rd P43, Fort Calhoun, NE. Our town is on NE Hwy 75 approximately 10 miles north of Omaha. All facilities and programs meet Rule 10 accreditation set by NDE and has Cognia accreditation and ave a one-to-one Chromebook program. Safety as a main focus; an addition was completed-occupied in 15-16 providing additional room for Fine Arts, Robotics, activities/sports, food service, offices, parking, and accessibility. In addition the existing building had major renovations to add classrooms, Industrial Ed space, modernized gym space, & the campus. Now all classes are able to meet "under one roof". All facilities are "buzz in" for safety. We continue the process of implementing a district-wide Mental Health program and have a full time SRO. Our students earn 220 credits to graduate and are eligible to participate in 12 dual credit classes. Fort Calhoun Jr-Sr High ranked 13th in the State in achievement last school year!
