Wayne High School is a comprehensive, public educational institution. The curriculum is designed around six career paths serving students with varied abilities. Three-fourths of the total faculty have Masters' degrees or beyond. The school employs a veteran staff who are committed to academic excellence. Mentoring opportunities are available for new teachers and are provided by the administrative and professional staff. The school historically has a graduation rate of approximately 95%. On the average, 95% of the graduates attend two or four year colleges or universities. The high school is involved in the AdvancED-NCA System Accreditation process, provides a rigorous curricular program, has increased access to technology for students, and provides students with several extra-curricular activities. With excellent support from the community, Wayne High School provides an outstanding and well-rounded high school experience for all students who attend.
