Wayne High School is a comprehensive, public educational institution serving students in grades 9 - 12. The school employs a veteran staff of which a majority have Master's degrees and are committed to academic excellence. The school historically has a graduation rate of approximately 95%. On the average, 95% of the graduates attend two or four year colleges or universities. The high school is involved in the Cognia-NCA System Accreditation process, provides a rigorous curricular program, utilizes one-to-one computer access for all students, and provides students with several extra-curricular activities. A robust career education program includes opportunities in business, education, agriculture, food, and natural resources, skilled and technical science, and health science. With excellent support from the community, Wayne High School provides an outstanding and well-rounded high school experience for all students who attend.
