York Middle School is a Class B school located in York, Nebraska. York Middle School has an enrollment of approximately 300 students in grades 6-8. York Middle School has been North Central accredited since 1979. Our Middle School faculty consists of 22 teachers, one counselor, and one administrator. The state-of-the-art middle school facility opened in August of 2007. York Middle School is organized around the components that make up exemplary middle-level schools. YMS subscribes to the middle school model and philosophy and has an advisor-advisee program that is considered to be one of the best in the country. Each student is assigned a family advisor upon entry into the school and maintains that relationship throughout their experience at YMS.
